Mondays Are for…

I’ve grown sick to death of hating Mondays for any lame or maybe understandable reason. Instead, I want to recognize Mondays as the first productive day of a week and a few other sentiments that I’d love to share below! 

Mondays Are for…

Loving Yourself 

Don’t be mean to yourself. Going easier on yourself in addition to easing up a bit on self-deprecating behavior and thoughts goes a long way here. Be kind to yourself. Smile at yourself in the mirror (sounds creepy and definitely corny, but it weirdly feels good). 

Fresh Starts 

Use Monday as a refreshing re-start to your healthy eating, career goals, fitness goals, or any other personal attainments you’ve got your eyes on! 

Productivity

Utilize all of your available energy stores to be as productive as possible today. Strike while the iron is hot if, for some unknown reason doing the laundry today doesn’t make you CRINGE. Or, if you’re at work and ready to go, tackle Monday as hard as possible, so perhaps the remainder of the week is a bit smoother.

Goal Setting

What are some new goals you’d like to accomplish? Monday is as good of a day as any to set some new and manageable goals. Small goals are just as important as big ones! 

Gratitude 

What are you thankful for this random Monday? I hope you can think of at least one thing that you are indeed most grateful to possess. 

Accepting Where You Are Right Now in the Present 

If you let the fact that you may not be exactly where you want right now in life, steal your happiness, stop! Be happy for everything you have right now at this present moment. You can still work to get to where you want, but you also need to be able to smile and enjoy everything you can at this very instant.
