3 Downers to Let Go of ASAP

3 downers instantly came to my mind when thinking of letting go. Please wade through these 3 downers to let go of ASAP like a lovely swan gliding upon a moonlit extraplanetary lake.

Downer # 1 to let go of ASAP….

1.Guilt

Forgiveness is on the other side of guilt. Forgive yourself. Strive to improve. Take all the time you need. You can become a better version of yourself.

Love yourself enough to believe in yourself, forgive yourself, and take as much time as you need to let go of your guilt.

You could even ask others for their forgiveness; if not, at least forgive yourself. Become a better you while you still have the opportunity.

Let go of the guilt that is holding you down like a dead weight. 


2. Shame 

You can be better today!

Don’t shame yourself any longer for the past as long as you know in your heart that you are consciously choosing to move past any wrongs, trying to make them right and improve yourself in the process. Accept yourself.

Love yourself.

Keep moving forward!

3. Anger 

Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured.

Holding on to anger harms us more than it’s release. Find ways to release your anger healthily, so you can let it go. Physical fitness is one route that helps me tremendously in releasing my anger. I take all of my rage and frustration and transform it by putting in a great effort during a workout. It’s a euphoric release, and I always feel better afterward.

Stop holding on to your anger.

Find ways to release your anger and let it go.

Yoga has also helped me with anger. Talking to a therapist is also an option. Or, you could speak to someone about the specifics of your anger when you’ve calmed down and can converse rationally without an angry fire blazing inside of you.

Anger is bound to happen,  but the key is how to work with it. It’s an inevitable and uncomfortable feeling in life, but holding onto it for too long is harmful.

My buddy Mark Twain and I want everyone to be able to deal with their fiery tempers more smoothly. It’s possible. It may require effort and some changes in behavior, but change can be a delightful thing! I hope you soon witness these 3 downers to let go of ASAP being whisked away with the wind.

Being able to deal with one’s anger more effectively will only enhance the quality of your life, making it calmer like a gorgeous pink blazing sun setting on the horizon.
