Take the Voyage to Planet Self Love
Enhanced self-love includes knowing yourself on a deep and rewarding level. The first step that will get some galactic self-love swirling around your orbit is to know yourself.
Please read my article, Self-love Is Getting to Know You, where I speak on this further.
Will you take the voyage to Planet Self Love?
I would encourage you to get your space suit ready, secure your helmet, get some sick space boots, and take the voyage to find and love yourself on Planet Self Love.
The voyage may start with a lot of turbulence. The ascent to Planet Self Love doesn’t guarantee a smooth start.
Prepare for lift-off, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1…

After breaking out of Earth’s atmosphere, you will see Earth as you’ve most likely never witnessed in person.
Imagine it as one of the most surreal things that you could ever see. Compare it to you stepping outside of the parts of you that are too negative and harsh with yourself while entering the part that only looks at you with love and little to no judgment.
You are worthy of love today and every day!
As you move past the part of your inner atmospheres filled with harsh vibes and open wounds, you will start to inch closer to Planet Self Love.
The more you try every day to love yourself, even if it’s in the smallest ways, one day, you will look through the window of your space shuttle and see a planet that appears to be habitable.
You’ll see a world that looks similar to Earth in the fact that there is a lot of blue, green, and clouds, indicating liquid water and lush greenery hospitable for life.
Welcome to Planet Self Love.
As much as it is a planet similar to Earth in the fact that its lifeforms and landscapes are nothing short of stunning, there are still erratic weather fronts that produce chaos and storms.
Picture this landscape as your mind.
You can become much better with the daily love you attempt to give yourself, but not every day will be smooth sailing.
We aren’t immune to bad feelings. The thunderstorms and lightning strikes will come. The tranquil seas of happy and calm thoughts and days will change to rough waves and days where you wonder how you can get back on your feet.
However, I encourage you to take the voyage to Planet Self Love.
Get into your space gear, and be ready and willing to open yourself up enough to the point where you can understand and know yourself enough so that loving yourself becomes more natural.
It’s hard to love yourself if you haven’t done some inner work on getting to know yourself.
If you are somewhere in the middle of this voyage and feel like you’re drifting in the darkness of space, have you at least noticed the stars?
Have you appreciated their luminosity and let it uplift your mentality?
Think of the stars as things in your life to be grateful.
I am grateful for the sound of the waves crashing on the beach.
I am grateful for the things that make me smile.
I am grateful for my lungs, allowing me to breathe correctly with each new day.
I am grateful to be able to write and share my thoughts with the hope of helping and maybe even inspiring someone.
What are you grateful for?
In my post, Your Gratitude Journal, I speak about starting and maintaining a gratitude journal.
When I jumped on the spacecraft for my great adventure to self-love, a gratitude journal is something that helped me. It still does. I can’t picture my life without one.
Take the voyage to find yourself on Planet Self Love, even if you feel like you’re fumbling through the darkness.
Loving yourself is something you won’t ever regret.
None of us are perfect.
We must love ourselves despite all of our imperfections and human errors.
We must vow to be perfectly imperfect while still recognizing that we are cosmically blessed.
To our knowledge, Earth is the only planet known to support life. When thinking of the expansive nature of the universe, this is fascinating.
We can all make that metaphorical journey to Planet Self Love that proves to be equally as magical as the majestic Earth we share.
Once we start to love ourselves, we are better able to love others. The love multiplies, creating an astounding quasar consisting of loving vibes that we all need in excess.
It’s possible to work through the muck of any mental ailments and work on more self-love.
Believe that anything is possible!
The trek to Planet Self Love can start with something as seemingly little as drinking more water or cutting back on the number of cigarettes you smoke daily (assuming quitting is your goal).
It could also entail looking at your reflection in the mirror, and instead of criticizing yourself, uplift yourself.
Smile at your reflection!
You are worthy of love regardless of anyone who’s told you otherwise!
We are made to love. Some of that love has to go to ourselves, so we can better distribute it to others.
